Q: How to I visualize for…..?

A: The most common way to use visualization for healing the body is to imagine that you’re inside the body, at the site of injury or disease. Imagine what it would be like. You don’t need to be a crystal clear ‘visualizer’. Everyone imagines in their own way – some just through intention or feeling rather than visual. You also don’t need medical knowledge. Visualization is, in some ways, a symbolic process where the intent and/or belief are more important. Many people like to use comical images.

Imagine converting the ‘picture’ of injury or disease into one of perfect health. You can use any imaginary tools you like – you can play the role of a modeler, for instance, where you remodel the body from the inside out. You can do this visualization for a few seconds or you can spend 15 or 20 minutes (or more) on it. It’s up to you.

This process is usually done repetitively – 2 or 3 times a day.

Visualization is not a substitute for medical advice. I believe it’s best used ‘in addition to’ advice.

If you want more detailed information on visualization, plus some science of the mind-body connection – covering the placebo effect, meditation and its neurological and physiological effects, the impact of visualization on brain structure and on the body, as well as some examples of the use of visualization from real people, you can look at my book, ‘How Your Mind Can Heal Your Body’.

I would also recommend, ‘The Biology of Belief’, by cell biologist Bruce Lipton.

Q: Are you available for one-2-one sessions?

A: At the moment I’m not available to coach or advise people on a one-2-one basis.

Q: Are you speaking in my area/country? How do I find out more about your talks, workshops, or retreats?

A: The best ways to find out where I’m speaking is to visit my ‘Schedule’ page or to subscribe to my e-newsletter, which you can do from any page on this website.

Q: Are you able to answer my e-mails personally?

Due to the large volume of e-mails I receive, I’m no longer able to personally reply to e-mails. I appreciate you reaching out to me, but in order to take time for my life and continue to create useful books that can help or inspire people who need it, it is not possible to personally respond. I hope you understand.

Q: How do I schedule an interview?

A: To ask about my availability for an interview, please contact Jo Burgess at Hay House UK. You can do this by e-mail: joburgess@hayhouse.co.uk or by telephone: 020 8962 1230 (UK).

Q: How do I invite you to speak?

A: If you would like to invite me to give a talk, keynote, or run a workshop, please e-mail: events@drdavidhamilton.com
