The 7 Day Kindness Challenge

I’d like to challenge you to complete a 7-Day Kindness Challenge.

Here’s some ground rules:

1) You must do something different every day. You can do the same thing on two different days if you want, but it only counts the first time.
2) You have to push yourself out of your comfort zone at least once. In other words, you have to do an act of kindness that stretches you a bit.
3) At least one of your acts of kindness must be completely anonymous. No one must know that it was you who did it, or what you did. You can’t tell anyone about it.

That’s the rules. Good luck!

And remember, you don’t have to do big things to make a difference. It’s the small things in large numbers that matter most because opportunities for these arise every day.

Taking up the “Kindfulness Challenge” this month. I have really struggled to be kind to myself and love myself first. As a result I find myself regularly trying to please others by being overly kind and sensitive to others.
I have done this throughout my life and only since I broke down ten years ago did I begin to notice my habits and what it was doing to me. I made a pledge to myself then that I would do more for myself that made me happy. Unfortunately the things that I have taught myself that make me happy are generally focused around others. Over the past year since discovering Kindfulness (kindness combined mindfulness) have I began to learn how to catch myself and maintain my own “bucket” regulator.
The problem I had discovered with kindness is when given too much to others and not received to the giver results in negative energy. I hope that by taking up the challenge you set combined with teachings from Marneta Veigas’ Relax Kids concepts the “Kindfulness Challenge 2021” will help.
    Currently on day two
